Just a block from Queens Wharf and the Auckland Art Fair, Britomart is a nine-block precinct full of exceptional public art and first-rate places to eat and drink. Until May 2021, you can visit Toi Tū Toi Ora: Contemporary Māori Art at Britomart, a satellite exhibition of Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki’s landmark show that features a new permanent mural by Shane Cotton on the corner of Commerce and Customs Streets, as well as temporary works by Lonnie Hutchinson, Charlotte Graham and Lyonel Grant (with Tim Gruchy). There are maps and free guidebooks in Britomart to help you find your way to the works.
