Matt Arbuckle (b. 1987 Auckland) lives and works in Melbourne. Arbuckle gained Honors in Visual Communication majoring in Painting from Unitec, Auckland, in 2009. In 2017 he was awarded the Wallace Arts Trust Vermont Residency. Selected recent exhibitions include Low Cloud, Parlour Projects, Hawke’s Bay (2018); Find Your Way, Tim Melville, Auckland (2017);Easy Fold, BUS projects, Melbourne (2017); Beat Box Blues Harp, Daine Singer, Melbourne (2017); Structures of Viewing, Tim Melville, Auckland (2016); Scales at Play, Neo Space, Melbourne (2016). His work is held in prominent public and private collections, including the Chartwell Collection, Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki and the James Wallace Arts Trust.
