Aotearoa Art Fair, The Dowse x Ngātahi

Hear artist Janna van Hasselt speak about her installation at the Art Fair. In the installation van Hasselt stacks, twists, plaits, stretches and perforates clay to create an unusual family of forms that push at the edges of how we think about ceramics. The artist is literally seen in the works with the gouges, finger holes and hand imprints.
Janna van Hasselt will take over booth B3 as part of our non-profit initiative creating space for public galleries at the Art Fair. Van Hasselt has been invited by Ngātahi and The Dowse Art Gallery to install this work.
