30 Days in the Art World
Today we commence our advent calendar: “30 Days in the Art world”, a daily bulletin featuring one amazing artwork per day from Monday to Friday, and a double feature on Saturdays, throughout the month of July, leading up to the Fair from 7 –11 August.
Located in an elegant west-facing room on the fourth floor of Peter Beaven’s 1965-67 Canterbury Arcade Building at 47 High Street, Auckland, Anna Miles champions and advocates for serious, critically influential New Zealand art that excites her.
Anna describes a gallery as a point-of-view business. She is interested in work that expands the sense of what art is, and is inclusive but fanatical about quality.
The gallery, established in 2003, has achieved a high level of sales to museum and institutional collections.
Exhibited Artists: Kate Small, Octavia Cook and Richard Stratton.
