Day 13, Gow Langsford Gallery

Wednesday, July 13, 2011

Founded in 1987, Auckland’s Gow Langsford Gallery is one of New Zealand’s most influential art dealers. The gallery represents established and mid-career artists from New Zealand and abroad.

In the past, the gallery has exhibited works by notable artists including Pablo Picasso, Donald Judd, Dan Flavin, Thomas Ruff and Andy Warhol.

At the Auckland Art Fair 2011 Gow Langsford Gallery will be hosting four different exhibitions, including fashion collaborations, glitter paintings and sculpture. Visitors will need to visit the Gow Langsford stand each day to get the full impact of the gallery’s Art Fair project. On show will be new works by Karl Maughan (Thursday), Reuben Paterson (Friday), John Pule (Saturday) and Paul Dibble (Sunday).

To coincide with the Auckland Art Fair, Gow Langsford is also showing The Dead and the Souls, an exhibition of works by British sensation Damien Hirst, at their Lorne Street Gallery.
