Located in the heart of central Wellington, Hamish McKay Gallery represents a wide range of prominent, contemporary Australasian artists.
The gallery was founded in 1993 and has a regularly changing programme of exhibitions and installations.
Many gallery artists have increasingly international reputations and Hamish McKay Gallery has featured in international art fairs, including London’s Frieze Art Fair.
At the Auckland Art Fair 2011 the gallery will exhibit works by Rohan Wealleans, Shane Cotton, Diena Georgetti, Séraphine Pick, Ronnie van Hout, Francis Upritchard, Martino Gamper and Karl Fritsch.
