Day 24 (Part Two): Sanderson Contemporary Art

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Sanderson Contemporary Art offers a welcoming and inclusive space that provides engaging experiences across a robust exhibition programme.

Established in 2002, the gallery now operates from two exhibition spaces in Auckland. The main gallery recently relocated to expanded premises at Osborne Lane, Newmarket; the second gallery is based in Herne Bay. The galleries present year-round exhibition events alongside projects to support emerging artists.

At the 2013 Auckland Art Fair Sanderson will present Rag and Bone, featuring newly commissioned work from Josephine Cachemaille, Kevin Capon, Young Sun Han, Clare Kim, PJ Paterson and Sian Torrington. The gallery has also timed the launch of the fourth edition of their book The Artists: 21 Practitioners in New Zealand Contemporary Art to coincide with the Fair.

Exhibited Artists: Josephine Cachemaille, Kevin Capon, Young Sun Han, Clare Kim, P J Paterson and Sian Torrington.
