Opened in 2007, Auckland’s Tim Melville Gallery is best known for representing emerging New Zealand artists, including sculptor Joe Sheehan and Maori multi-media artist Wayne Youle.
The gallery has also introduced an exclusive roster of Australian artists to New Zealand audiences, among them Sydney-based light artist Jonathan Jones and senior Aboriginal painters Sally Gabori and Mabel Juli.
At the 2011 Auckland Art Fair, Tim Melville Gallery will present works by Elliot Collins, Sally Gabori and Roberta Thornley.
