Wellington’s Bowen Galleries was established in 1981. The gallery has always enjoyed strong Trans Tasman connections.
Many of their artists have international links, are in major private and public collections, publishing projects and public gallery exhibitions.
The art world’s current interest in works on paper has led Bowen Galleries to feature drawing and 3D drawing at this year’s Auckland Art Fair. The exhibition will include their Auckland-based artists, Kathy Barry, Jana Beer, Phil Dadson, Warwick Freeman, Louise Purvis, Jeff Thomson, Tracey Williams – these and more.
