Meet The Galleries
The 2026 edition of Aotearoa Art Fair is our largest and most ambitious to date!
This year, we welcome an exceptional line-up of more than 60 leading galleries, presenting across all three levels of the Viaduct Events Centre. Bringing together galleries from across Aotearoa, Australia and beyond, the Fair presents an outstanding range of contemporary art. From established names to exciting emerging voices, visitors have the opportunity to discover and buy new work, meet artists, and explore diverse perspectives.
Our 2026 galleries will be announced on 18 February.
Exhibitor Sectors
Explore the different ways galleries and artists present work across the Fair.
GALLERIES
The Galleries sector brings together leading galleries presenting solo and group exhibitions by established and emerging artists. Visitors can explore a wide range of contemporary work across painting, sculpture, photography, installation and more, and discover artists shaping the art of today.

FUTURES
Futures highlights emerging galleries and artist-run spaces, offering a platform for new voices and fresh ideas. Often one of the most exciting areas of the Fair, this sector is where visitors can discover artists at an early stage of their careers.
WORKS ON PAPER
Works on Paper presents drawing, printmaking, photography and editions. Works on Paper offers a chance to experience the richness and versatility of this medium, and is often one of the most accessible ways to begin collecting, with art to suit all budgets.

HORIZONS PRESENTED BY CHAPMAN TRIPP
Horizons highlights new-generation and unrepresented artists from across Aotearoa and the Pacific, offering visitors the chance to discover fresh voices and ambitious new work.
For 2026, Horizons features four curated booths led by Kristine Crabb, Matthew Galloway, Cheron Hassett and Becky Hemus. The sector is facilitated by Becky Hemus, publisher and editor-in-chief of Current art magazine, bringing a strong curatorial perspective to this platform for emerging artists.

HOUSE PARTY
House Party brings together beautifully crafted objects, ceramics, design and small-scale works that blur the line between art and everyday living. Focusing on materiality, craftsmanship and contemporary design, the sector offers works that are tactile, playful and thoughtfully made. It’s an inviting place to find unique pieces that bring art into everyday life.
