Aotearoa Art Fair, Aotearoa New Zealand’s premier showcase for contemporary art, will take place from 18 – 21 April 2024 at the Viaduct Events Centre in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland.

VENUE

The 2024 Aotearoa Art Fair will be the first edition at its new home, the Viaduct Events Centre, a state-of-the-art venue is built on Wynyard Quarter in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. The 6,000 square metres facility has been designed to a five-star environmental standard, and makes the most of its impressive waterfront location with glass walls, balconies and easy access to the wharf.

The venue is within walking distance from an array of exceptional restaurants, cafes, bars, and hotels.

GETTING THERE

Buses

Britomart is Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s Public transport hub; many buses from around the region stop here or in nearby downtown Auckland. Please refer to the helpful links below for more information.

Ferries

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is a short walk from the Viaduct Events Centre. Ferries arrive at this terminal from destinations across the Waitemata harbour and Hauraki Gulf. For timetables and further information please see the below links.

Trains

Britomart Transport Centre is located at 8/10 Queens Street. Viaduct Events Centre is a short walk from the Queen Street exit of the station. Britomart is Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s public transport hub and all train lines converge here. For times and routes please see the below links.

Parking

The nearest car park building is Downtown Carpark located at 31 Customs Street West. There is also limited car parking available at Wynyard Quarter car park.

ACCESS

The Viaduct Events Centre is a fully accessible venue; accessible entry is available at the main doors, there is an elevator to all floors, and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. If you have any specific accessibility queries please do not hesitate to email hello@artfair.co.nz.
