Ming Ranginui, Angel Numbers on the Dash
Angel Numbers on the Dash touches on New Zealand’s housing crisis and its impact on those affected by it. Ming Ranginui began by modifying her 2003 Daihatsu Sirion car, changing and removing the upholstery and number plates, transforming the car into something new.
Ming’s work can be lighthearted but it also addresses societal issues. With a background in haberdashery, Ming often uses techniques like smocking and pleating to make something modern and meaningful.
