The Aotearoa Art Fair returns to Auckland’s Viaduct Events Centre from 30 April – 3 May.

The Aotearoa Art Fair is one of the most anticipated cultural events on Auckland’s calendar – four days of art, ideas and energy on the waterfront.

From 30 April – 3 May, the Fair takes over all three levels of the Viaduct Events Centre, bringing together leading galleries, artists, and international voices for four inspiring days of art, ideas, and discovery.

GETTING TO THE FAIR

By Bus

Auckland Transport offer the City Link Bus public bus which picks up passengers from Britomart, Downtown Ferry Terminal and Queen Street every 7 minutes. This bus stops at Wynyard Quarter which is a 8 minute walk from the Viaduct Events Centre. Auckland Transport journey planner is an online tool that will help plan your visit.

By Foot

The Viaduct Events Centre is a 15 minutes walk from Quay Street, around the picturesque Viaduct Harbour.

By Ferry

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is a short walk from the Viaduct Events Centre. Ferries arrive at this terminal from destinations across the Waitematā harbour and Hauraki Gulf. For timetables and further information please see Fullers Ferry or Island Direct Ferry.

By Train

Britomart Transport Centre is located at 8/10 Queens Street. Viaduct Events Centre is a 22 minute walk from the Queen Street exit of the station. Britomart is Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland’s public transport hub and all train lines converge here. For times and routes please see the AT Transport website.

By Car

The nearest car park building is located on Halsey Street in the Wynyard Carpark. Accessible car parking is available in the Jellicoe Street Carpark at the end closest to Silo Park, subject to availability.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Viaduct Events Centre is fully accessible, with entry available at the main doors, an elevator serving all floors, and an accessible toilet on the ground floor. For any specific accessibility queries, please feel free to email us at [email protected].

There are two mobility parking spaces located to the left of the main entrance of the Viaduct Events Centre. A mobility permit must be on display to use these. If these spaces are unavailable, there is also space to be dropped off right next to the entrance.

Service animals and emotional support dogs are welcome but must be under effective control and on a lead up to 2 metre long at all times.
