Sunday, May 3, 2026

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

During her Masters studies more than ten years ago, CA began utilising performance as a creative approach. She has since advanced the use of live painting, audio, and narrative to create nuanced, intimate gestures that embody the mauri of the whenua, employing pigments sourced from the land itself.

We invite you to experience a dynamic and engaging performance inspired by time spent crossing the Waitematā Harbour, which is situated just outside the art fair venue.

Cora-Allan, of Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Tumutumu, Niue-Alofi, and Liku descent, is a visual artist, technician, curator, and writer. She earned her Masters in visual Art and Design from AUT in 2013, and her work is featured in notable collections across New Zealand, Australia, Niue, England, Scotland, and Canada, including Te Papa and Te Hiringa Waka, Auckland War Memorial Museum.
