Performance: Kindred: Public Record at Silo6

Only one day evocative event at Silo6, present by Public Record, Live Performance show ‘Kindred’ featured some of Aotearoa’s significant artists. More than fashion show, this event brings the creative community together to celebrate artistic expression in all its forms.

Blurring the boundaries between performance, design, and installation, the event features ceramic works by Thomas Baker alongside experimental fashion and footwear by Being., Evan Beijnen, and Lashoemaker Bespoke. At its core is 6×4, a multidisciplinary performance by Steven Junil Park, created in collaboration with Cindy Jang, weaving together sound, costume, and choreography into a cohesive live work.

A live sonic program underpins the experience, with cellist Karen Hu, vocal performances by Steven Junil Park, and audio by Jeff Henderson, creating an atmospheric soundscape that evolves throughout the evening.

Directed by Public Record, led by Yuka O’Shannessy, the event is supported by ArtNow NZ, Lomas Kerr, and Hunter’s Wines.

This performance will run across two time sessions:
