Join us for a Meet the Artist and Artist Talk with Dr. Elliot Collins, where he will share insights into his practice and the deep connection between text, landscape, and memory in his work.

Drawing inspiration from the powerful landscapes of Aotearoa—both the external spaces we move through and the internal landscapes that shape us—Elliot’s work continues a rich lineage of artists using text within the landscape. His practice explores memory and time as fundamental touchstones, inviting viewers to bring their own connections to place, movement, and personal narratives.

Elliot Collins will be gifting poems to guests for them to take away, with the option of hand-finished watercolor details—an intimate and personal extension of his practice.
