Join us to hear renowned Tai Tokerau artist Teresa HR Lane discuss her new body of work “Mine to Mine”. Mining an abundant archive of contemporary and historical imagery from Aotearoa and beyond, Lane’s practice ‘painting with paper, drawing with scissors’ employs mixed media collage to challenge, reframe and re-contextualise narratives. Assembling disparate fragments, Lane explores the collective illusion of paradise, known as ‘Gods Own’.
